Starf Hotel - Milão

Milan is host to the world’s latest designer hotel, an ode to minimalism entitled the Straf. The 1880’s building was purchased by brother-sister team Daniela and Gerardo Bertazzoni in 2000. Joined by architect and fashion designer, Vincenzo de Cotiis, they set about transforming it into a modern industrial palazzo full of intense artwork, gleaming panels of glass and polished concrete.

There are 66 rooms and suites at the Straf, which is located walking distance from fabulous boutiques (Dolce &Gabbana and Prada) as well tourist sites (the Duomo Cathedral, the Galleria and La Scala).
