The owners of the hotel group, (Hoteles Silken), quickly understood the importance of recognized design to new segments of public/clients and invited a heterogeneous group of architects and designers to create, each one of them, a different interior atmosphere on a different floor.Therefore, the clients can choose rooms designed by Javier Mariscal, Jean Nouvel, John Pawson, David Chipperfield, Zaha Hadid, among others.

The website of the hotel allows a virtual visit trough the 14 floors, and also provides a biography, project explanation and video presentation of each designer/architect.The façade was designed by Jean Nouvel.
